Announcing CTN learning campaign – CO 2033

By 2033, institutions of higher education will need to advance their business model and reimagine one that serves declining enrollments, population demographic shifts, and changing economics. Trustees are critical conduits of change - especially when working together.

In 2023, CTN will implement a campaign that builds excitement and forward momentum around the changing needs of postsecondary education. CO 2033 brings programming and conversations that help trustees understand their role to collectively innovate postsecondary education to meet the evolving learners attending our institutions in 2033.

Here is what you can expect:

  • 3-4 Anchor Convenings:

  • Host quarterly online or in-person gatherings with local and national speaker panels that provocatively push the vision for an evolving postsecondary system

  • Convening is preceded and followed by curated themed toolkit aligned with convening topic, pulling in additional resources and readings for trustees to explore further. Toolkits will provide “Top 10 Questions” to ask at future board meetings and sample policies that reflect on the topic/discussion

  • Timely Topics: 60-90 minute webinars that address timely topics aligned to CO 2033* through informal partnership and include takeaways & action for trustees

  • Regular Communications: Newsletters, LinkedIn updates, video highlights, and education media
