Our Team
A Founding Committee of Trustees representing every public university in the state launched the Colorado Trustee Network (CTN).
The Colorado Trustee Network (CTN) is a coalition of trustees who govern Colorado’s public, post-secondary institutions. CTN’s work is informed by a Leadership Council, which consists of one trustee from each of Colorado’s public institutions of higher education. The group represents the voice of learners across the state and informs CTN’s strategic direction. Leadership Council members identify critical policy focus areas for CTN that are centered on students and equity.
Leadership Council
Ultimately, the Colorado Trustee Network plans to expand its membership beyond trustees from public Institutes of Higher Education (IHE) to include former trustees, alumni, community and business leaders, as well as members from Colorado’s private IHEs. All with the goal of developing a stronger voice for higher education in Colorado.

Powered by Colorado Education Initiative (CEI), CTN officially became a project of CEI’s in July 2022. As an organization with a strong 15-year track record of practice and innovation work in K12 education across the state, this partnership stands to both position CTN to better achieve its goals and accelerate work that blurs the lines between K12, postsecondary, and the workforce for Colorado learners. Through partnership, CEI and CTN seek to catalyze K12 & postsecondary education partnership.
